Mail out your wedding invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding, allowing guests several weeks to make travel arrangements. For a destination celebration, you can send out STD’s as soon as you have your wedding date nailed down or at least 3 months beforehand.
3. How to set the RSVP timeline
Usually, we suggest setting your RSVP timeline for about two to three weeks before your day and six weeks before destination weddings. What you do at this point helps you ensure time to plan seating charts, design escort cards, and give your caterer and venue a final headcount.
